Early Christmas present today with the sun shining and temps crawling up a little bit.  I went to the gym to find it closed for some reason driving home and realized I didn't have to just fold on the idea of exercising and ended up at Watershed park and walked/jogged the whole three mile loop.  It was beautiful in the morning sun and mist, everything is completely waterlogged, rich and dense.  Took the girls to LBA Park Ruthie on her bike and Sylvie scooting along.  Met a couple boys and they played for an hour in the sun, just running up and down hills and in circles. Ruth finally has mastered the brake on the bike, which sets my mind at ease considerably.  She knows how to really get going fast and now she knows how to slow down and stop!

Then a late afternoon clean up in the back yard.  Finally cleared away all the branches from the wind storm a few weeks ago and cleaned out the herb garden a little.  Ruth beside me the whole way with her little rake and wheelbarrow.

Christmas break week, will be very quiet at work I hope and everyone will be home.  Should be an easy short week.
