Ruthie stayed home with Mom today.  She was coughing in the night.  It brought back the struggles we had a couple years ago.  Endless nights of constant coughing.  It wasn't a repeat of the past, but similar and it caused the same kind of heart-jumping anxiety every time she coughed.

Up to Seattle tonight after Sylvia's winter performance.  Going to stay the night up at Mom's so I can slip into the city int he morning for an APRNW meeting at the Woodland Park Zoo.

Quiet days at work with students gone and many staff out too for the holidays.
